Johnson Ridge Observatory—This Observatory looks directly into the volcano crater, has hiking trails and a terrific display on the geologic activity of the volcano. A must see!
Ape Caves—These underground lava tubes are a fascinating experience to hike for 3 miles with lanterns, flashlights or head lamps. Truly a unique experience. This is located near Woodland, Washington.

Silver Lake Grange Hall—For the larger groups that need more than our meeting spaces, the grange hall is less than ¼ mile away, and offers kitchen facilities and large meeting rooms.
Silver Lake Resort—Silver Lake Resort offers accommodations on Silver Lake, a boat launch, boat rental, and many events throughout the year.
Castle Rock Riverfront Trail—This ADA-accessible trail in Castle Rock follows a section of the Cowlitz River. Just over three miles roundtrip, the trail passes a mountain bike course, playground, and several picnic areas, as well as various access points to the town of Castle Rock.
